About Waxy!

Hi my name is Amy and I am the 'Waxy' in Waxyhearts - my blog is a collection of everything I heart on the internet. I am an Etsy addict - however there has not been an intervention as of yet, for which I am very thankful.
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, but now live in the fabulous Minneapolis area with my husband (I call him Pooch - and he likes it!) and my two chihuahuas - Ducky (pictured above with me!) and Sugar Bear! I am a huge Chicago Bears fan and I love Indy Car Racing (Danica and TK are my faves!).
My goal is to one day have an Etsy shop of my own once I figure out what I am good at - I have a list of projects I want to accomplish but I never get around to them. I have a day job where I battle my eyelids for about 8 1/2 hrs a day and then come home exhausted from the fight.

I hope you enjoy my blog and keep reading as its still growing - I expect it will get better and better! After all, I'm still not sure what I want to do with my life but blogging and sharing everything I heart with my readers makes me smile!
